Secure Technology open South African Office

Secure Technology is delighted to announce the appointment of Cassie Carsens as Vice President, (South Africa) heading up their new SA subsidiary based in Hout Bay.

Cassie is a specialist in the area of internet provision and network security and has worked with Dr. Case, President & CEO of the Secure Technology Group on a wide variety of projects over the years.

The Secure Technology Group is dedicated to supplying very high levels of security and encryption but with an ease of use that would make the implementation of the security system painless through the development of simple, user friendly, advanced multi-factor authentication, access control and encryption solutions to the corporate and commercial markets.

The Secure Technology approach leverages emerging USB token technology to store authentication or encryption/decryption data and is built around the principle of never storing keys or authentication data on the protected PC.

USB tokens are cost-effective and provide an innovative solution to a wide variety of computer security and information control issues. The are ideal for controlling access to network services, or anywhere a password, cookie, digital certificate or smart card is used today. They can be plugged into any standard USB port. The iKey is a reliable, easy-to-use security solution, without the complications and cost of a smart card reader.

The Secure Technology range of solutions all incorporate multi factor authentication and include: -

KeyCrypt - Advanced Encryption System incorporating secure, encrypted e-mail.
KeyAPI - A component to enable 3rd party developers to readily build in iKey security routines into their own products.
KeyID - Secure identification system providing very strong visual identification services for situations where physical confirmation of identity is required.
KeyPout - Secure folder encryption without the additional overhead of VxD or Sys drivers on their standard operating environment.
NT-SignOn and PassKey - Single sign-on incorporating multi-factor authentication for Windows 95/98, NT 4 and Windows 2000.
WebKey - Secure, multi-factor access control and encryption for corporate intranets and internet restricted areas.
